Herefordshire Council is intending to implement a multi-disciplinary service to support children and their families, which focuses on prevention and family enablement, and ensures that the potential of universal services are maximised. Integration of children and family support services aims to significantly improve the outcomes at early years for children in Herefordshire thereby giving every child living in the county the best possible start in life, and offer continued support to children and families via communities and professional organisation. As part of the commissioning process for a new integrated Children and Family service, Herefordshire Council is undertaking a soft market test. This gives potential providers the opportunity to express their interest and share proposals, ideas and good practice.
