Tender description

An Advisory Service in relation to the Beef Efficiency Scheme for the period 2017-2019 (with the possibility of being extended for up to 2 further years). The requirement is for an Advisory Service to approximately 1 800 beef farmers participating in the Beef Efficiency Scheme. The purpose of the Advisory Service is to assist farmers to fulfil their obligations under the Beef Efficiency Scheme. The Advisory Service will involve: (a) An on-farm visit and carbon audit, conducted on each farmer's business, and advice on farm management improvements relating to greenhouse gas emissions. (b) Group events to provide farmers with advice and support to identify 2 further management improvements, including a breeding change.
