Tender description

This PIN is for a second batch of ‘Use Case’ projects that, based on market analysis, will develop and demonstrate end-to-end applications (product, software or service) based on CAMS products. The objective of such projects is to stimulate innovative ideas and support the development of downstream applications. The criteria for selection will be the innovative use of one or more CAMS products, the sustainability of the application business plan, the potential for increasing the use of CAMS services and reaching out to wider communities, and the quality and value for money of the bids. The proposed technical solution shall contain a technical description of the application, a business plan, as well as a description of the activities foreseen for the two phases of the project. There are no restrictions with regards to the geographical area of the proposed application, it can apply over an area in Europe or anywhere in the world. ECMWF may award multiple contracts depending on the quality of the proposals and available budget. Duration of the framework agreement: maximum 30 months Estimated total value excluding VAT: Range between 400 000 and 500 000 EUR (this is the maximum total cost of all contracts to be awarded).
