Tender description

ECMWF as the Entrusted Entity for the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) will issue an Invitation to Tender for the production of seasonal forecast (SF) data for use as part of an operational multi-system seasonal forecast service, following on from the proof-of-concept developed by C3S during 2016-2017. Contracts, to cover a period of between 42 and 48 months starting in January 2018, will be negotiated with several suppliers of seasonal forecast data. Bids from seasonal forecast providers will be evaluated on the basis of criteria related to scientific quality, documented expertise and ability to fulfil operational requirements.
