Tender description

1.1 The City of Wolverhampton Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations wishing to tender for the provision of Direct Payments Support Service and Payroll Service to support and enable current and potential Direct Payments recipients to take up and successfully manage Direct Payments. 1.2 The aim of this Market Warming opportunity is to provide an outline of our commissioning intentions to potential service providers and to understand the market's scope of interest and capabilities, before finalising the commissioning strategy for the future of Direct Payments Support Service and Payroll Service. The information gathered from this exercise will help shape future proposals including any potential tendering process and associated service specification. 1.3 This exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information-gathering exercise, offering an opportunity for potential providers to understand the commissioning intention. 1.4 This therefore does not represent a commitment from the City of Wolverhampton Council to award a contract or an invite to tender to any provider that expresses an interest in this market warming exercise.
