Summary of the work This requirement is to provide risk and opportunities subject matter expertise to the Cyber and Crypto project teams in MOD Information Systems and Services organisation. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring risk and opportunities management is optimised and continually improved to enable successful delivery of projects. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length The Contract will be for 12 months and will include 2 x 6 month extension options funding pending Latest start date Monday 10 July 2017 Maximum Day Rate The day rate is up to £450 per day EX VAT to include agency fees. Who Speclialist Work With All project managers and external technical support within the Sy Infra area. Specialist will also be expected to work closely with ISS PMO and it’s the ISS Risk Manager and with suppliers and other key stakeholders as and when required. What Specialists Work On Review, update and re-publish as required, the Sy Infra Risk & Opportunities Management Plan. Provide SME guidance for risk and opportunity owners Review risks/opportunities with owners in line with the project reviews and reporting drumbeat Provide SME guidance to risk/opportunity owners Responsibility for the efficient and effective management of the Sy Infra ROMP process. Lead and develop the reporting of risks/opportunities in the Security Infrastructure 1* Area. Support the development of the risk/opportunity components of Business Case submissions. Analyse Security Infrastructure Infra risks/opportunities Lead the conducting of a maturity assessment of Sy Infra risks/opportunities management Skills & Experience • Previous experience of project delivery 30% • Previous experience as a risk and opportunities practitioner in a project environment 40% • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills 10% • Proven ability to work in a multi-function team 10% Nice to Haves • Previous experience in a MOD environment 5% • Previous experience of MOD Risk tools 5% Work Location ISS, Building 405, Spur F1, Westwells Road, MOD Corsham, SN13 9NR Working Arrangments All tasking will take place from MoD Corsham and you are required there 5 days a week, the working day is 8 hours to include 30 minutes for lunch. Day visits may be required. Overnight visits will only be permitted if permission is sought in advance. T&S will be paid in accordance with MoD Civilian Policy. All resources will be provided and access to the organisation's IT system; no personal or company laptops will be permitted on site. Security Clearance SC Clearance must be in place prior to the contract starting due to the projects the individual is required to work with. SC status must be valid for the duration of the contract.
