Summary of the work Stakeholder engagement ensuring that Authority GFx, delivery plans, designs, equipment all delivered to agreed time-lines, including security certification of users , installation locations. Manage supplier. Manage ECR process . Maintain, track plans Manage submission of SORFs, SON, SOR, Site Change Requests, purchase requests ,Business cases, Financial Authority spend. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length until 12/12/2017 with extensions to the 2 year point Latest start date Monday 10 July 2017 Maximum Day Rate We will pay up to £550 per day EX VAT to include agency fees. Please note that Intermediaries legislation applies to this assignment, take this into account when choosing your candidate and ensure they are aware at the outset. Who Speclialist Work With Current project team consists of 6 project managers What Specialists Work On The overall objective of the post is managing the delivery of the capability to multiple sites and support for the AS IUS voice and Video projects and programmes within its project team ensuring a common process, methods and tools are used. The post holder assists the AS IUS Voice and Video Project lead to deliver and maintain site performance monitoring and reporting, engaging with site stakeholders addressing all aspects of site engagement and capability delivery. Skills & Experience • APM or PRINCE 2 Project Management Qualification - 20% • Recent experience of implementing information and communications technology (ICT) projects in a higher security domain - 20% • Knowledge Of JSP 604, JSP 440, ECR process - 20% • DV Clearance - 10% Nice to Haves • Experience of MoD & ISS processes and governance - 10% • Experience of working with a ICT deployment Programme - 10% • Team and collaborative working style - 10% Work Location Based in Corsham, Wiltshire, but will require travel to additional site locations in the UK Working Arrangments 5 days a week (37 hours per week) within a bandwidth of 08:00 - 18:00. No expenses will be paid. All resources will be provided access to the organisation's IT system and no utilisation of personal or company laptops will be permitted. You will be required to work within Corsham unless on detached duty. Security Clearance Individual must hold current & valid ' 'DV' clearance in order to work in the project or have access to IT Systems. DV Clearance details must cover the duration of the contract. MoD will not cover expenses to renew any clearances. The budgets that you have set out are a little all over the place. £550 EX VAT to include agency fees, however confusingly enough it stipulates in the final page that our maximum day rate equates to £950. Can you please be more clear on what budget we actually have to work with here. Is it £550 MAX or £950 MAX? Also is this post deemed in or outwith IR35? Sorry nowhere on the advert have I mentioned £950 per day budget and I can not see it on the advert.As advertised this has a budget of £550 ex vat per day to include agency fees, it also states intermediaries legislation applies to the role therefore it is INSIDE IR35. 2. Could you please let us know - 1. Maximum number of applications we could submit. 2. Date on which feedback would be provided for the application submitted. As per DOS rules, one advert for one post. Could the authority please confirm that T&S will be available for the required travel at MOD Rates. T&S will be paid in accordance to MoD Civilian Policy guidelines. T&S will only be paid if a candidate has been asked to visit another site for a meeting. Travel from home to work is not payable. For travel to Abbeywood Bristol, we will expect individuals to use the shuttle bus available. 5. Would you consider work permit holders (e.g. Tier 2 General Visa) and EU passport holders for this role if they are eligible for DV clearance ? This post is for DV cleared UK nationals only due to the projects. 6. What is the total number for positions open for this role? As per DOS rules, one advert is for one post only! 7. Is occasional remote working allowed? No, you are required to be based in Corsham 5 days a week where all IT is provided for you. 8. Any specific format(pdf,doc) in which CVs to be sent later? CVs will be required for those meeting the shortlist and will be required in Word Format no more than 4 sides of A4. Day rates are not to be included on CVs. 9. What are the other expenses which will be paid. Only T&S will be paid where you have been asked to attend a meeting off-site. T&S will be paid in accordance to MoD Civilian Policy and Guidance. 10. Any chances of change in start date as the latest date mentioned is Monday 10 July 2017? You need to include your earliest start date when bidding. The Project need someone in fairly quickly however we need to ensure IT accounts are in place. Perhaps be more specific in your question if you have a date in mind. 11. Can more than one candidate per supplier be submitted for this role Please read the questions already submitted - answer at 2! 12. What is the lead time for feedback once the application is submitted? Please read questions already submitted - answer is at 2! 13. Will you sponsor DV clearance? No this would take too long and be very costly to the Authority. Any individual would need to hold DV status upon coming into post. 14. Regarding DV clearance status, if the candidate does not hold active DV clearance and is willing to go through the process, can this be considered, if yes will you sponsor the security clearance Please see above.
