Summary of the work Oversight and participation in IUS SRT processes including: Site migration processes, JSP604 and design documentation progression, Progression and resolution of sites and site issues. Maintenance and usage of SRT GFx and site trackers. Assisting in the delivery of the IUS Migration Schedule. Specialist role Programme manager Expected Contract Length For a period of 11 Months plus extensions funding pending up to 2 years Latest start date Monday 10 July 2017 Maximum Day Rate We will pay up to £500 per day EX VAT to include agency fees. Who Speclialist Work With Civilian, Military and Contractor personnel of the DaaP(B) JPO Site Readiness Team and the CM organisation. What Specialists Work On The overall objective of the post is providing support for the IUS project with the DaaP(B) JPO ensuring a common site readiness process, methods and tools are used. The post holder assists the DaaP(B) JPO IUS SRT Lead with project management, process management and service delivery of sites associated with the IUS migration rollout. Skills & Experience • Telecommunication background with Project management - 15% • An understanding of Networks e.g. what LAN/WAN, Point to Point networking, the types of services within a network - 15% • Knowledge/understanding of Network equipment rooms, IT cabling infrastructure, JSP 440, JSP480 - 15% • Knowledge/understanding of JSP 604 and ISS installation methodology - 15% • Experience of IT infrastructure rollout across multiple locations - 15% • PM Skills: Prince 2 Foundation /Knowledge, a recognised Project Management Qualification (e.g. APM or MSP) at a minimum of Foundation level - 15% Nice to Haves 'Experience of working with ISS staff to deliver agile solutions for service and site delivery - 10% Work Location RAF Henlow, SG16 6DN - Please note interviews will be held in Corsham, Wiltshire. Working Arrangments "5 days a week (37 hours per week) within a bandwidth of 08:00 - 17:00 (hours to be agreed with individual manager). Travel and subsistence will be provided for off-site working and site readiness visits. All resources will be provided access to the organisation's IT system and no personal or company laptops will be permitted on site. Security Clearance SC status is required as a minimum and therefore DV is accepted. BPSS or other basic checks are not permitted for this role.
