Summary of the work To provide a resource to the ICT Security Team for day-to-day support, remediation of known issues, and execution of project tasks. A large proportion of work will be required for ESN Health check remediation work where the consultant will progress and complete project tasks for the appropriate project manager. Specialist role Cyber security consultant Expected Contract Length 1 year Latest start date Monday 3 July 2017 Maximum Day Rate £350 Who Speclialist Work With ICT Security Team Leader What Specialists Work On ICT Security – BAU/Project work Skills & Experience • “CompTIA+ Security” or ”Cisco Security” Certification or three year’s experience in working in Security. • MS Windows Active Directory and LDAP • Maintaining Firewall rules • Web and Email filtering • Experience of hardening of critical systems • Security Patch Management • VPN Administration • Strong technical background and hands-on skills in reviewing testing and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructures from a security perspective. • Knowledge of typical ITIL change management processes. • Scripting. Nice to Haves • MS Windows GPO • VLAN/Switch configuration • Powershell • Citrix Netscaler • RSA • Solarwinds product suite • Visual Studio • MS Direct Access Work Location LFB Headquarters, 169 Union Street, London, SE1 0LL Working Arrangments Onsite 9am - 5pm Monday-Friday. Expenses not included. Inside 4. What is the maximum paying rate for this role as we have conflicting rates? It seems a little low for this particular role. The Authority has increased the maximum day rate to £450. 5.
