Within this element of the framework contract the core services are deemed as being ‘non-specialist arboricultural works’. This means that works will be carried out at a height of less than 1.8 m. As such a rope and a harness or a hoist/lift will not be required to carry out the instructed works. Typically, non-Specialist works are those undertaken from ground level utilising chainsaws, hedge cutters or brush cutters to remove smaller diameter vegetation. Non-specialist works do not require any aerial operations in the form of tree climbing. Specialist and Non Specialist Arboricultural Works.
