Tender description

Award of the External Residential Placements - Apr 17 - Mar 18. A number of specialist placements of children and young people have been made outside of North Tyneside to meet specific and complex educational and/or social care needs.. At present 17 children are placed under such arrangements which are meeting very complex need and/or youth justice legislation. All placements are made in appropriate settings which are registered with Ofsted and/or the commission for Social Care Inspection. Placements are made on an individual basis with the duration often unknown at the point of placement.
