Tender description
Newcastle City Council with its partners Gentoo are looking to build on the site of New Biggin Hall Shopping Centre. Currently, however, there is an infestation of Japanese knotweed located on the site which needs to be excavated before construction can begin. The contract is for the complete removal and disposal of the infestation of Japanese knotweed located at New Biggin Hall Shopping Centre in accordance with the Environment Agency code of practice (incl: addendum 2013) on managing Japanese knotweed.
