Organisations have previously been supported to provide services to young carers on a "grant" basis. A tender exercise is required to ensure that the process for support is transparent and complies with procurement regulations. A 2 year contract with effect from September 17 is proposed with the option to extend for a further 2 years. A provider engagement event is being held on 14th June 2017.
