Tender description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) — Irish Water intends to run competitions to procure the supply, installation and commissioning of a pressurised sewer collection system (pressurised sewers and on site grinder pump units) in Gweedore, County Donegal. This is a market sounding exercise whereby IW is requesting the views of interested parties in how such a system might be designed, procured, installed, controlled and subsequently operated and maintained. We also wish to better understand the viability of using such systems in other situations. Irish Water is now inviting responses from interested parties who wish to engage in this market consultation exercise. We would like to engage with parties who have the capacity to: — Design Integrated Collection systems; — Supply Pressurized System units; — Supply integrated control systems; — Provide technical support for initial customer interaction; — Provide technical support to installation contractors, including training and oversight of commissioning; — Provide support to managed service providers. (Operation and Maintenance) including training and system information. As this request relates to a deployment of a new technology in Ireland and as many suppliers and designers may not have developed a supply chain here, it is envisaged that in order to successfully carry out the project parties may be required to participate together. To facilitate participation, IW is willing to consider supporting elements of the delivery chain through using our existing construction and consultancy frameworks and are open to considering other proposed delivery mechanisms. A more detailed scoping document is appended. Disclaimer: This RFI does not constitute an offer to enter into any contract. Neither this document nor any information set out herein shall be regarded as a commitment or representation on the part of Ervia or Irish Water to proceed with purchase of units and services at the end of this RFI process, run any tender competition, or enter into any form of contractual arrangement express or implied. Any and all costs of participation in this RFI, save for those expressly agreed to by Irish Water in writing in advance of incurring, shall be borne by the Respondent parties.
