Pilot Church Surveys Lots 1 and 3

Tender description

During the development year (2017/18) of the HLF-funded 'Bats in Churches' project three churches have been chosen to pilot the project approach to producing management plans. An experienced contractor (or contractors) is required to conduct in-depth bat surveys and produce a management plan for each of these churches. These surveys must start in May and, following the practical work, the contractors will produce a detailed management plan which will provide information on how the bats will be managed during the delivery stage of this project (2018 onwards). Without this detailed information on how bats are using these three pilot churches or the management plans it will be impossible to apply for or progress with the stage two HLF application for the delivery phase of this project. The work carried out under this contract/s will also enable a full site registration application under the Bats in Churches Class Licence.
