North Lincolnshire Council has awarded the contract for the Provision of a Supervised Consumption and Needle exchange Service The new provider will be solely responsible for ensuring high quality substance misuse pharmacy services across North Lincolnshire. This service will oversee suitably trained and competent pharmacists to supervise the consumption of Methadone and/or Buprenorphine/Buprenorphine and Naloxone mix at the point of dispensing controlled drugs within the pharmacy setting, ensuring that the service user has consumed the prescribed dose safely and correctly.
