Tender description
The study of neuroscience in cities has lacked advancement mainly due to technology; we have not had the ability to take equipment outside of the lab to test neuroscience in the "wild" resulting in neuroscientists not being able to conduct studies with people in real life environments. Testing neuroscience in the context of the built environment has, as a result, been limited. Mobile Electroencephalography (EEG) would open the opportunity for the Catapult to understand the effect of cities on neurology as part of one of our urban Mobility and Healthy Cities agendas. EEG measures brain activity from small recording electrodes by means of specially designed electrode caps. The Catapult wishes to purchase two mobile EEG devices, accessories and supporting services for the purpose of advancing its understanding of the the objectives set out above. Keywords: EEG Devices
