External Investigating Officers and Independent persons play a vital role in the consideration of complaints about services to children under the Children Act Representations Procedure. Oxfordshire County Council is creating an Approved Provider List (APL) for Investigating Officers and Independent Persons. Providers listed on this APL will be selected to carry out investigations.
