Design consultancy services

Tender description

The Museum of London sought interpretation consultancy services for its New Museum West Smithfield Project. The services will comprise two work packages. The first work package (WP1) will be to guide, advise and support the Museum of London team to create an Exhibition Design Brief for the galleries for the new Museum of London together with an Interpretation Masterplan for the public spaces within and visitor journey through the museum. The second work package (WP2) will be optional to the Museum and will comprise ad-hoc interpretation consultancy services and advice during the exhibition design and delivery phases from 2018 through to 2022. The Museum of London sought a suitable supplier to provide interpretation consultancy services for its New Museum West Smithfield Project. The services will comprise 2 work packages. The first work package will be to guide, advise and support the Museum of London team to create an Exhibition Design Brief for the galleries for the new Museum of London together with an Interpretation Masterplan for the public spaces within and visitor journey through the museum. This first work package will cover the period from May to December 2017 and the estimated value of this work package is 60 000 - 75 000 GBP. The second work package will be optional to the Museum and will comprise ad-hoc interpretation consultancy services and advice during the exhibition design and delivery phases from 2018 through to 2022. The estimated value of this work package, as best it can be identified at this stage, is in the region of 175 000 GBP but the option to call-off such services will be at the discretion of the Museum.
