Tender description

The University of Portsmouth is looking to establish a new Framework Agreement for taxi services due to the demand for transportation of staff and students. It is anticipated that the Framework will be awarded to a Primary bidder with a Secondary bidder in reserve. Please find the weblink for our webpage below: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/port/ The University requires private hire vehicle journeys for staff and students in and around the local area. There may also be requirements for wider journeys from time to time. The list below are some examples of typical journeys that are required; — To the Langstone Campus, — Local Hospitals (appointments and emergencies including First Aid Taxi Journeys), — Local Schools and Colleges, — Local Train Stations (for example Portsmouth & Southsea/Harbour, Cosham, Havant), — Around the local Campus, — Southsea Hoverport, — Other local towns and cities (e.g. Petersfield, Chichester). We require private hire vehicles for journeys to and from airports which includes Heathrow, Gatwick, Southampton, Luton and Stansted. Occasional journeys are required to and from other airports for example Bournemouth.
