Tender description

Contractors are required to assess (condition survey) trees, with regard to public safety, located on Environment Agency owned sites. Initially via a desk exercise, contractors will establish the need for, and prioritisation of site visits in accordance with Operational Instruction 362_09. Once a site visit has been undertaken contractors will be required to provide a report on the number of and condition of trees at each particular EA site. Depending on findings, contractors may be asked to carry out fencing works or limb removal or felling in order to manage/minimise risks to the public, however, please note the key element of this contract is to carryout tree condition surveys.
