Primary Care GP Caretaking Services - Manor Practice

NHS England (the Contracting Authority) London Region is inviting expressions of interest from suitable provider of Primary Care GP Services to undertake a GP Clinical system caretaking contract in London for Manor Practice, Brentford Health Centre Boston Manor Road, Middlesex, TW8 8DS based in London Borough of London Borough of Hounslow. The current Primary Care GP Services contract at Manor Practice held by Greenbrook Health Care Ltd will come to an end on 30th June 2017. As with any practice closure, there is likely to be a number of clinical and administrative tasks that will need to be undertaken after the practice has closed. We therefore need to put in place a temporary 'caretaking service' so that these tasks can be actioned accordingly and to ensure that any potential areas of clinical risk are identified and acted upon appropriately. Specific contractual and financial matters will be discussed at the selection stage. However, the selection of the provider will be based on a combination of quality response and financial submission submitted. It is important to note the clinical system, System One, will be accessed from the Providers premises. Bidders will need to demonstrate they have experience in System One. The Contract will be for a period of 4 weeks - the initial contract period will be from 3rd July 2017 to 31st July 2017. The initial period is followed by an optional extension of 2 weeks to 14th August 2017 until the list has been dispersed. Expressions of interest must be submitted via email to england.lon-nw-pcc@nhs.net no later than Monday 29th May 2017 12:00 (noon). This advertisement is a call for competition via an expression of interest stage. No further contract notice will be published for this contract. Providers interested in providing these services and who wish to be involved in any subsequent tender process related to this contract must respond to this advertisement by formally expressing an interest in this opportunity via the process described above. Bidders who do not express an interest by the stated deadline will not be invited to submit a proposal. Please note this contract is a clinical contract under "Schedule 3" of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and is under the applicable threshold for Light Touch Regime procurements. Neither the inclusion of a Bidder selection stage nor the use of the term "Invitation To Tender" nor any other indication shall be taken to mean that NHS England intend to hold themselves bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to service contracts under the relevant threshold for Light-Touch Regime contracts.
