Public Health England's national infections laboratory located at Porton Down, Salisbury wishes to hold an engagement day with prospective suppliers who meet the requirement of a PET CT Scanner Compatible Isolator "POD". The department is seeking a purpose built, self-contained, negative pressure isolator (with separate air and mobile power supply) for transfer to and from mobile PET CT scanners The proposed isolator must be able to fit upon the gantry and through the bore of a conventional PET CT scanner. It is vital that the pod possesses the capability to withstand robust regular use with minimal servicing and maintenance, in addition to frequent fumigation with formaldehyde.
