Local Land Charges - Market Engagement and Information Sharing Event

Medway Council has a requirement for the provision of Local Land Charges which is not covered by any Policy Framework. In respect of the Councils Strategic Priorities and Core Values, Local Land Charges has links to Giving Value for money and putting the customer at the centre of everything we do. The expectation is that the service will either be provided via a Module available for total land charges for Uniform TLC solution or most possibly test the market for a better solution by engaging in a procurement exercise. The commissioners would like to discuss our plans with the market to understand capacity and the ability of providers to deliver the service including the possible procurement process, and to further discuss related service specification. The service would be expected to undertake the full range of LLC services and detailed service specifications will be published as part of the procurement process. However, Medway Council would like to get potential provider views and ideas as well as assess current market appetite to provide this service. The outcomes of the event will then determine next steps.
