Tender description

This procurement replaces that of the same name which was withdrawn due to strategic developments by the Council and is now being re run using the Competitive Procedure with Negotiation process. the successful bidder is expected to offer a quality service for both the operation and of the leisure centres and of the wider physical activity services in and around the district, such as there is no subsidy. The service includes the development of a sustainable network of leisure facilities and activities available to residents, contributing to health and well being in the district through a single integrated service. The operator is required to provide the Council with professional advice on the development of a new leisure facility in Market Rasen for which the Council has agreed the capital funding. Once the plans for this new centre are finalised the management of the facility will be negotiated as a variation to the contract and may result in the contract being extended. The expectation is for a single whole network transfer on a leasehold basis from 01 June 2018. Keywords: Sports and Physcical Activity
