UCL requires a highly effective and successful partnership with a professional and highly competent Contractor who will provide UCL with advice, design services, asset record keeping, a high level of technical best-practice and compliancy guidance, and a fully coordinated and integrated service and maintenance support provision. The Contractor must operate as a specialist security partner for UCL. This will include responsibility for the following systems: — Electronic access control. — CCTV. — Intruder alarm systems. — Intercom/door entry systems. This includes the following elements: — Contract management. — Technical and design services. — Professional advice and guidance for technology, compliancy and best practice. — Management and documentation of system asset records. — Routine planned preventative maintenance. — 24/7/365 reactive maintenance and emergency call-out response. — Design services and commissioning for project work. — Small works of install, legacy replacement and upgrades. The value of the works is anticipated to be in the region of 600 000 GBP — 800 000 GBP (Not including installation and/or commissioning work undertaken as part of separately contracted project work. University College London (UCL) is advertising this contract in the Official Journal of the European Union, under a voluntary basis and does not undertake any obligation to comply with the procurement legislation as this service category comes under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 Light Touch Regime.
