London Borough of Harrow is seeking to engage with and obtain the views of providers of Health Visiting and School Nursing services. This is a pre-procurement exercise to help develop thinking on the way in which such services might be provided in London Borough of Harrow in the future. The information we receive will help the commissioners make decisions about the best approaches to take in commissioning Health Visiting services and School Nursing for Harrow Council. Harrow Council is seeking to engage with the market would like to invite you to a market engagement/information event: Meeting Details: Title: Children's Public Health–Market Engagement for 0-19 Service Date: Monday 12.6.2017, Time: 14:00 - 17:00, 14:00 – Arrival and registration 14:30 - 16:30 Main Event 16:30 – 17:00 wrap up / close Location: Committee Rooms 1 and 2, Harrow Civic Centre, To express your interest in to this event can you please register on the portal or via email to lisa.taylor@harrow.gov.uk From 1.10.2015,Harrow has been under a legal duty to commission the Healthy Child Programme 0-5 pursuant to the Local Authorities (Public Health Functions and Entry to Premises by Local Healthwatch Representatives) and Local Authority (Public Health, Health and Well-being Boards and Health Scrutiny) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 (‘the Principal Regulations’) and therefore under a legal duty to secure the provision of the five mandated elements of the Healthy Child Programme 0-5. In addition, local authorities have been responsible for commissioning school nursing services and the Healthy Child Programme (5-19) since 1.4.2013. Harrow's health visiting (‘Healthy Child Programme 0-5’) services are currently provided by London North West Healthcare NHS Trust. The School Nursing (5-19) service is currently provided by Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH). It is our intention to combine both these services into a 0-19 service.
