e-ITT for the provision of replacement Fire Alarm System at Frosthole Close, Fareham

Tender description

The Frosthole Close site comprises 100 dwellings made up of an arrangement of two, three and four floor blocks all with associated communal stair cases and a separate community building which incorporates a children’s nursery, communal room and laundry room. There is an existing BS5839 Part 1 fire alarm system installed which is covering all the dwellings and associated communal stair cases and the community building. The existing system has been adapted over the years to deal with nuisance alarms resulting in smoke detectors within dwellings being replaced with heat detectors and has more recently suffered from faults from wiring which is run buried in the ground between the blocks of dwellings.
