Tender description

The Framework Agreement is for the supply of pressure area care and patient handling products including but not limited to specialist beds, acute and community beds, bariatric beds, foam mattresses, dynamic mattresses, hybrid mattresses, cushions, pressure area care prevention and support aids, hoists, slings, slide sheets, standing aids, transfer equipment, bathing equipment and decontamination and rental services. This Framework Agreement is for 24 months with the option to extend in incremental stages for up to a total period of 48 months. This Lot is for Specialist Beds. Products within this Lot include, but shall not be limited to: spinal beds; therapy, rotational/respiratory beds; critical care beds; therapy beds; turning beds; and related accessories. Weighting: Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 % This Lot is for standard electric profiling beds. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: general 4 section acute profiling beds; general community beds; cots; paediatric beds; low height beds; and related accessories. Weighting: Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 % This Lot is for foam mattresses suitable for use as a standard mattress for patients. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: standard pressure redistribution foam mattresses; memory foam mattresses; and foam overlays. Weighting: Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 % This Lot is for bariatric beds, mattresses and their associated accessories used for very heavy patients who exceed the safe working load and dimensions of the standard hospital bed. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: acute bariatric beds; community bariatric beds; and standard pressure redistributing foam bariatric mattresses. Weighting: Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 % This Lot is for dynamic mattresses and overlay systems for pressure relief / redistribution and prevention/management of pressure ulcers. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: alternating pressure mattress replacements; dual mode dynamic mattress replacements; alternating pressure overlays; and low airloss mattress replacements. Weighting: Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for hybrid pressure reducing mattresses used for pressure redistribution and prevention of pressureulcers. Mattresses in this Lot will be used as a standard mattress for patients. Products within this Lot includebut shall not be limited to active foam mattresses. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for non-powered re-distributing mattresses and overlays for pressure relief and prevention/management of pressure ulcers by increasing contact area and reducing interface pressures to reduce shear and friction forces. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: gel mattresses; and air filled mattresses. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for cushions used for comfort, postural control and or pressure distribution. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: dynamic cushions; and static seat cushions. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for prevention and support aids suitable for reduction in risk of pressure sores. Products within this Lot including but not limited to: bootees / foot protectors; positioners; leg troughs; and wedges. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for Hoists, Equipment and Accessories that allow patients in hospitals and nursing homes, and those receiving home health care to be transferred between a bed and a chair or other similar resting place. Products within this Lot include, but shall not be limited to: mobile hoists — electrical and hydraulic; spreader bars; and scales. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for Standing Aids and Accessories used for standing transfers, weight bearing exercise and other rehabilitation functions. Products within this Lot include but shall not be limited to: standing aids — manual and electric; and related accessories for example seat straps, arm straps and knee straps. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for bathing equipment and accessories including but not limited to: variable height baths; showerchairs; shower/changing trolleys; and manual bath hoists for chair/bed to bath transfers. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This lot is for transfer equipment including but not limited to: air assisted lifting/transfer devices; patient transfer boards; and patient turntables. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for Slings and Accessories that allow patients in hospitals and nursing homes, and those receiving home health care to be transferred between a bed and a chair or other similar resting place. Products within this Lot include, but shall not be limited to: loop slings for use with hoists; clip slings for use with hoists; and highback slings for use with hoists. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for Slide Sheets including but not limited to reusable and disposable slide sheets. Weighting Training and Support: 16 % Service and Supply: 44 % Financial Evaluation Weighting: 40 %. This Lot is for the provision of rental and decontamination services for pressure area care and patient handling products.
