Award of contract for the supply of Network Management Servers

Tender description

3.1 As part of DVLA's current Network Simplification programme, we are looking to procure two servers to be part of the DR solution (out of band network): 3.2 Justification for procurement of such a system is based on the following benefits: • These servers are required to host tooling virtual machines required should any part of the core fail. This, with the out of band network, will enable authentication, investigation and diagnosis in a DR (loss of part of the core) scenario. • These virtual machines would also be used to assist with investigation and diagnosis of non-DR service issues. • These will also host other NW team tooling (both Run and Build).
