Somerset Stop Smoking Service - Supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)

Somerset County Council (SCC) directly runs Smokefreelife Somerset, the stop smoking service for the county, having taken over the service from Solutions 4 Health in April 2017. As an integral part of this service we offer direct supply of NRT products to clients who enter our programmes of treatment. We are inviting pharmaceutical suppliers to supply NRT products to SCC for this service. The full range of NRT products is offered by the service, with estimated annual quantities shown in the attached spreadsheet, (Appendix A). Product mix and quantities will vary according to demand for the service as a whole, as well as for particular products. Orders will usually be made on a monthly basis, with local stock control designed to avoid the need for intermediate orders, but if unexpected demand requires it, additional orders may be submitted.
