Tender description

This notice requests for suppliers to express an interest in the possibility of supplying NHS Protect which is part of the NHSBSA a Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) software product that meets our requirements for a potential case management system to replace our in house investigation and intelligence toolkit product called (FIRST). This application has been developed wholly in-house with collaboration between specialist development staff and business owners. The application is also maintained and supported by our internal support staff. Our expectation is for a fully functional and flexible Case Management system with capabilities such as: - — Subject recording; — witness and ‘other’ contact recording; — subject checks; — account management; — asset management; — examinations and criminality; — key date recording; — including results and disposals; — Ideally able to support the automated generation of all template based documentation, e.g. Schedules, Prosecution Case Files, MG Forms and advice files; — support information exchange with the CPS by exporting case files and exhibits to their systems; — able to link into our Forensic software toolkits; — functionality which allows for interaction with our existing intelligence toolkit ‘iBase’; — able to hold single information reports that allow NHSP to build a picture of fraud within the NHS and health sector.
