Tender description

Jisc Services Ltd wants to set up a multi-supplier, multi-lot framework agreement for subscription-based online Business Information resources to be offered via Jisc Collections. Jisc Collections is working with the Business Librarians Association to represent their interests and to offer the resources to the 118 higher education institutions represented by the BLA. Single or multi-title full text of current and historical titles of national/regional/international newspapers, journals, business publications, serials, business school press, monographs and economic or financial press. Collections of searchable, full text access to reports and analyses on UK and International business sectors. Access could be via a platform or content sold for local hosting at the institution. Reports may be current or historical and may include forecasting data on volume/value. In-depth analysis of those sectors could be in the form of a database of graphs, charts, data, commentary and/or online access to published reports. Content can be offered to include multiple market sectors or as a single market specialist. Online platform containing these types of data: financial markets data, pricing, domestic exchanges for major markets, currencies, bonds, stocks, country and listed company research, brokers' information, mergers and acquisitions, company and stock exchange filings. Interoperability with excel, data, charting, manipulation of the display of pricing data and other calculable metrics is highly desirable. Database containing UK/International company financial information, for both quoted and private entities. Filings on national registers, such as Companies House and equivalent by country on annual reports and other legal filings (which could include Stock Exchange filed reports). Companies would be searchable by name, country, sector, size and type. Further manipulation of the data into segmentation analyses is desirable. Database containing reports and data analysis of macro and micro economic data by country and region. Statistics on national accounts and forecasting as well as text on political, social and economic climate current, historical and forecasted.
