Prj No. 1510 – Replacement Windows at Chalkwell Infant School

Southend Borough Council requires a contractor to replace windows at Chalkwell Hall Infant School. The works will include the removal of the existing Georgian bar timber sash windows to the front elevation of the Infant block and replace same with white powder coated aluminium frames incorporating double glazed Georgian bar, tinted glazed sealed units. To the Dining Hall/ Early years building situated behind the Infant block it is intended to replace the existing Crittall ‘Z’ windows with UPVC curtain walling incorporating double glazed sealed units. A Schedule of Works will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT MW 2016 Contract. The tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 80% for price and 20% for quality. Keywords: Replace Windows
