Tender description
Gateshead Council (the Council) have utilised the opportunity of referring perpetrators of domestic violence to a Police funded perpetrator programme since 2014/15. Prior to this referrals were made to a Lottery Funded service. The Council have a continued commitment to tackling domestic abuse. Due to a current service gap we are considering options to commission a Domestic Violence Perpetrator Programme (DVPP) for families and individuals affected by domestic abuse. The Council would like to better understand the supply market, referral routes, accreditation(s), costs and how Providers actually deliver this service to what can sometimes be a difficult client group to engage.
