Maintenance and repair of reprographic machinery

Tender description

A group of 5 schools within the Every Child Matters Trust are looking to replace their existing photocopiers and potentially wish to award a contract to 1 provider for all their requirements subject to price and quality criteria. The schools are looking for a cost effective and responsive provider who has knowledge and experience of the education market in particular to supply photocopier/MFD machines on a lease basis. The contract will be for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. Should the schools take up the option to extend they may wish to change machines at this point. The contract will be for 3 years, with an option to extend for a further 2 years. Should the schools take up the option to extend they may wish to change machines at this point. There is no guarantee that the individual schools will award the contract and they reserve the right to split the award between a number of providers. All photocopier contracts for the 5 schools expire at different times (please see appendix A in the specification) therefore should the schools utilise this contract it will be done on the basis that each school will have a 3 year contract from the date their current agreement expires with an option to extend for another 2 years if they choose.
