Tender description

This Invitation to Tender comprises an Additive Layer Manufacturing machine. ASTUTE 2020 and the College of Engineering have an existing additive layer manufacturing machine, but wish to upgrade to a model with an enhanced specification. It is intended that the upgrade will be as a part exchange of Swansea University's current Additive Layer Manufacturing Machine. The equipment is required to enable the continued study of the Additive Layer Manufacturing process with up-to-date equipment. Investigations will be carried out to determine the effect of process parameters on material properties, including density, ultimate tensile strength and yield stress.
