Tender description
The BDBF is acting on behalf of the Church of England, Birmingham Schools. The Department for Education provides capital funding VA schools known as LCVAP funding. This funding is released to the LA who coordinate the distribution of funding prioritising keeping VA schools warm and dry. We are seeking a Building Surveying company or equivalent Professional Construction Consultancy to work with our Voluntary Aided (VA) Schools to determine appropriate capital projects including building requirements. They would then represent the Schools at LEA (Local Education Authority) Co-ordinated Voluntary Aided Programme (LCVAP) meetings with LA's and other interested parties to maximise funding possible. The framework agreement will run for 3 years starting on 3 April 2017 with a potential 1 year extension. In addition, this Framework will be available to other Church of England, Birmingham Schools (including voluntary-controlled schools, academies and affiliated schools). BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
