Tender description

Greater Manchester (GM) is developing an Ethical Learning Disability and Autism Purchasing System. Local Authorities (LAs) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) within GM will commission person-centred and outcome-focused packages which will support people with learning disabilities and autism to be independent at home, learn new skills and connect with others. The life journey approach will seek innovative solutions from providers. Though the Purchasing system will initially be set up on behalf of Greater Manchester Local Authorities and CCGs, there will be scope for additional Public Sector bodies (outside the GM area) to access the System.
