Network Rail requires various Isolation Equipment for use on the DC rail infrastructure, consisting of: Circuit Breakers: o Track Feeder o Bus Section o Rectifier o Track Feeder Circuit Breaker Integrated with a Short Circuit Disconnector (SCD + LCB) o Track Feeder Circuit Breaker Integrated with a Short Circuit Switch (SCS + LCB) Short Circuit Switch (SCS) Short Circuit Disconnector (SCD) Controlled Track Equipment o Controlled Track Switch o Controlled Track Disconnector o Controlled Track Switch Integrated with a Short Circuit Switch (CTS + SCS) o Controlled Track Switch Integrated with 2 x Short Circuit Switch (SCS + CTS + SCS) o Controlled Track Disconnector Integrated with a Short Circuit Switch (CTD + SCS) o Controlled Track Disconnector Integrated with 2 x Short Circuit Switch (SCS + CTD + SCS) Network Rail have developed a product specification for the systems listed above. The next step is to engage with the supply market and obtain feedback on the specification. Network Rail is seeking to understand what options exist that meet its requirements. Network Rail wishes to engage with suppliers who have a product that either meets all the requirements, or could meet them with minimal adaptation. Network Rail will be looking to hold an engagement event or events in the week commencing 19.6.2017, with suppliers who express their interest in participating.
