Call Off Under the Dynamic Purchasing System for Block Contracts for 20 Care Home Beds

Bids are sought from providers who are on the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Care Homes for a block contract for 20 beds The Council wishes to call off a two year block contract for 20 beds for a period starting from 1st June 2017 and ending on 31st March 2019, with an option to extend for a year. The Council acknowledges that there may need to be phasing in of the block beds and this should occur within a two month period. The types of beds required are: • Extensive nursing home beds (8 beds) • Specialist nursing home beds (6 beds) • Standard residential dementia beds (6 beds) This opportunity is only available to those care homes that are already registered on the Council’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for care homes or that become registered prior to the award of contract for the interim beds.
