Call off under the DPS for Interim Care Home Beds

Tender description

Bids are sought from providers who are on the Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for Care Homes for additional interim beds. The Council has already recently purchased 35 interim beds in nursing and residential care homes through the DPS. The Council now wishes to call off an additional 10 interim beds for a period starting from 1st June 2017 and ending on 31st March 2018, with an option to extend for a year. The Council acknowledges that there may need to be phasing in of the interim beds but that should occur over a short period of time. The types of beds required are: • Extensive nursing home beds • Specialist nursing home beds • Standard residential care beds The Council is particularly interested in beds located in the South of the County but will consider other locations This opportunity is only available to those care homes that are already registered on the Council’s Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for care homes or that become registered prior to the award of contract for the interim beds.
