The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Leicestershire (referred to as ‘Leicestershire Police’) are issuing an invitation to tender for Vehicle Removal Services. Leicestershire Police require a vehicle recovery/storage service to include: — The 24/7 x 365 days vehicle recovery for light vehicles, (under 3 500 kg), heavy vehicles (over 3 500 kg), forensic recovery (no hands), and the recovery of broken down police vehicles. — Secure storage of the vehicles including covered storage and facilities for forensic and mechanical examinations. — Administration of removed vehicles including full audit trail from removal to disposal. — Provision of a reception facility for owners collecting their vehicles. — The collection of charges from vehicle owners on behalf of the Chief Constable.
