This is a notice for social and specific services in accordance with Directive 2014/24/EU Article 74\n \n -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n \n PLEASE SEE LINK TO OVERIGHT SHORT BREAKS PROJECT - https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sesharedservices/aspx/ProjectManage/12442\n \n -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n \n This is a tender process to acquire Play and Leisure Short Breaks services for Disabled Children and Young People under the Light Touch regime. Following the tender process, successful bidders will be offered a Block Contract to deliver play and leisure services. \n \n The purpose of this commission is to develop the independence and readiness for adulthood of children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), and improve their emotional and physical health. It will do this by offering them a range of creative, flexible, fun and co-designed play and leisure activities in their local communities. In doing so, the commission will also provide parents and carers with breaks from their caring responsibilities, so they are empowered to look after their own emotional and physical health and provide better and more sustainable care to their whole family.
