Tender description

The European Spallation Source (ESS) is a multi-disciplinary research centre based on the world's most powerful neutron source and is currently under construction at Lund, Sweden. This new facility will be around 30 times brighter than today's leading facilities, enabling new opportunities for researchers in the fields of life sciences, energy, environmental technology, cultural heritage and fundamental physics. First neutrons are to be delivered in 2019 and full implementation will be completed in 2021. 2.1.1. The contract will cover the manufacture, and delivery of the defined Niobium material to STFC Daresbury Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as STFC), Warrington and all associated documentation except for the half-cell sheets which will be delivered to the Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as DESY), Hamburg, Germany.
