Tender description

Calderdale Clinical Commissioning Group and Calderdale Council have run a tender process for the provision of specialist mental health support services for people aged 18 and under in Calderdale, with the aim of moving away from a tiered system of escalation and towards a more patient-centred, whole-system approach. Following evaluation and discussions with the bidders, we have decided not to award the contract at this stage and the procurement process will not continue. As a result of this CAMHS in Calderdale will continue to be delivered by existing providers and there will be no disruption of services. Calderdale CCG and Calderdale Council wish to commission services that provide the right care, at the right time in the right place for the people of Calderdale which is delivered by staff with the competencies and skills to meet the needs of children/young people. The CCG seeks service providers to bring our vision to life; we are not being prescriptive in terms of: — Service model/ provider approach, — Delivery teams/roles, — Numbers of specific staff, — Location of services.
