Tender description

This notice serves to announce that a contract was not awarded following the conclusion of this tender exercise. it does not seek any expressions of interest for a new opportunity. NHS Greater Huddersfield Clinical Commissioning Group sought to commission a high quality GP led Primary Medical Care Service for people with specific needs in the Greater Huddersfield area. The aims of the service were to offer support to patients in order to enable a large portion to transfer to a mainstream provider of Primary Medical Schemes within a 12 month period. Following conclusion of the tender exercise and the evaluation of tenders received, no provider was appointed to deliver the service due to the tenders failing to meet the required quality thresholds. An electronic tendering portal (NHSOURCING) was used to manage this process and to communicate with potential providers. Accordingly, no hard copy documents were issued to potential providers. NHS Greater Huddersfield CCG are wanting to provide safe, high quality, effective GP Led primary medical care and health promotion, tailored to the unique needs of specific populations living in the Greater Huddersfield area who are registered with the practice. the Provider will provide support to patients to enable a large proportion to transfer to a mainstream provider of primary medical services within a 12 month period. The population covered will include: — Homeless or in emergency accommodation; — Asylum seekers; — Refugees; — Sex workers. The average number of patients registered with the practice should be 1500. The registered list should not exceed 1 750 or drop below 1250 patients. the list size must be managed pro-actively to ensure that: — The practice can serve its population adequately. — It moves patients into mainstream practices consistently rather than en-masse. — It maximises the use of the resources.
