Tender description

The aim of the service is to ensure that all children and young people in Knowsley receive the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme offer which includes universal access and early identification of additional and/or complex needs, with timely access to specialist services, to improve health and social outcomes, and reduce health inequalities for children and young people. The Contract will be for a term of 3 years, and potentially it may be extended for 2 further periods of up to 12 months each. The aim of the service is to ensure that all children and young people in Knowsley receive the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme offer which includes universal access and early identification of additional and/or complex needs, with timely access to specialist services, to improve health and social outcomes, and reduce health inequalities for children and young people. The integrated service encompasses the following: Healthy Child Programme (0-5); Health Visiting Service; Family Nurse Partnership; Universal Healthy Start Supplementation; Breastfeeding Peer Support; Healthy Child Programme (5-19); School nursing service; NCMP; Brushing for Life and School Health Oral Health Packs.
