Tender description
Norfolk County Council has awarded a contract for the provision of a 22 bed residential care home facility for homeless individuals or individuals at risk of becoming homeless, who present with a dual diagnosis. The definition of a dual diagnosis in this context is an individual who presents with co-existing mental health (and/or personality disorder and substance misuse problems (drugs and/or alcohol). The beds are for individuals undertaking a recovery / integration phase to develop their ability to move on to the community and maintain their mental health and reduced use of substances. Residents eligible for the recovery beds will initially utilise the service for approximately 3-6 months at any 1 time. Longer term stays will be subject to approval by the mental health funding panel and reviewed annually.
