Expert advice to support land management strategies. Expert guidance to local NR teams arising from location specific clearance or vegetation management programmes. Mediation with external stakeholders and neighbourhood groups in advance of works. Where necessary to perform crisis resolution as a result of poorly executed or communicated works. Mentoring of staff groups within NR on Tree and Land Management. Mentoring of departments within NR who will communicate or liaise with external stakeholders and neighbourhood bodies. This is to embed and support proactive practices so avoiding crisis or reputational damage. Establish working groups and develop the relationship for NR with various organisations. The purpose of this is to improve visibility, develop policy, enhance reputation and increase the sphere of influence. Develop guidance material for specialist areas of tree management, environmental improvement and neighbour/stakeholder liaison. This material is to be briefed to the relevant key bodies within NR. Co-ordinate trials for the use of trees or other specific vegetation to improve biodiversity, security or environmental sustainability. Act as an independent technical expert for crisis resolution between NR and neighbourhood groups or external stakeholders. Utilise local representatives to monitor performance of NR performance of tree management schemes. These representatives or agents are to be used to develop local stakeholder relationships. Present to wider NR groups on case studies, lessons learnt and improvement initiatives.
